How Many Weeks Should I Treat My Pond For Algae?

Every water feature is different but our goal is to get the algae under control in the first 6 weeks of treatments. Then we evaluate the process, review digital photos and make adjustments to the amount and frequency of treatments. Application rates for initial and on-going treatments depend on many factors such as surface area, severity of the algae, nutrient loading, water pH, rainfall, temperature and daylight hours.
